Gary Young

Still fairly new to racing, Gary Young made his first on-track laps in early 2022. He attended a Bertil Roos Racing School five-day course at Pocono Raceway, where he met Jesse Gröse. After a few months of track days and coaching with Jesse, he started racing in the FARA Championship. Scoring his first podium with Steadfast Racing at the FARA Race of Champions in his Ferrari F430 Challenge.


Mac Lewis

Owner of Steadfast Racing and team driver. Mac started racing in his late teens; racing late models and dirt modifieds before he joined the US Navy. Restarting his love for racing in mid-2022. Like Gary Young, Jesse Gröse was his driving coach. Mac’s military and business background are the pillars of which Steadfast Racing will expand. Mac is the 2023 FARA MP3B Sprint and Endurance champion.


Jesse Gröse

Team Manager & Resident Pro Driver. Jesse started in karting before making the jump to cars in 2013. He started his own driver coaching firm, Von Gröse, in 2017. Coaching many drivers across the United States as well as becoming a school instructor for the late Bertil Roos Racing School. Having driven and raced over fifty different racing cars in the last ten years, Jesse’s experience is invaluable for car and driver development within the team.


Jimmy Crawford

A veteran of formula car and sportscars, Jimmy started his career from Jim Russel Racing School in 1973. Since then, he has raced Formula Atlantics, IMSA Radial Challenge Sedans, Formula Ford, Formula Enterprise, and various sports prototype series. After a brief pause in racing, Jimmy will be racing the Steadfast Racing Ligier JS51 in FARA’s FP-3 class.
